About the Park...
Although the town is just across the street, we're flanked by two green parks, and backed by the famous French Creek. The Mickelson trail passes right in front of us, so you can hop on your horse or bike, or walk the entire length of the Black Hills from here. We have shade, grass, and wild turkey and deer are frequent visitors. You can hear the big cats doin' their thing...some guests have even seen them up on the ridge .
We'll show you the hills and the lesser known sights, or you might like hanging around for our impromptu potluck barbecues on the patio. Stay for a day, or stay long enough to soak up the relaxing pace and down-home friendliness here in Custer. We offer monthly rates, too, and four season camping.

We have a lot of fun with birthdays. We even had a hitchin' on our 4th and Washington corner under the Big 'Ol Cottonwood. • Dogs, cats, other friendly critters welcome. The feed and tack store is close by. Please clean up after your pets. There is a leash law in Custer good for a $25 fine. • Personal Tours We also pride ourselves in personal tours to non-tourist areas in limited numbers, at given times. |

- Graveled and level - Electric - 50 amp on down to the currant bush - Full hookups (Water-Sewer and Electric) - Picnic tables - We have city water • Tent Sites - Grassy, shaded sites along the creek - FREE firewood for the Fire Pits - Clean Showers • Smoking We ask guests to please not smoke and throw butts on the ground. The Forest Service has fines for this and also the forests have enough problems with the pine beetle infestation. |
